coral hawaii?

i live in hawaii and i'd like to know how people are being able to have corals? i knwo its illegal and such but how do some people here in hawaii able to have them? i know a friend who knows someone with em.

anyone ahve any idea how they got a hold of it? i thought all people don't ship it to hawaii?

is it liek they ship it as a different product instead of saying that it is livestock, they categorize it as somethign else?

im really not sure. I wouldnt have a tank there I dont think... id just have a snorkel/mask and fins!

I think there would be less maintenance!

 

I know one guy that lives there with TONS of corals, he actually got some type of permit and he collects and sells them. Hes actually on reef2reef, the company is alhoa corals or something like that.
