This guy started growing in the shadow of my toadstool. It is tiny and hard to get a good pic. Any ideas?

I'll keep you posted as it grows. I do have an extremely large Colt in the tank. I'm wondering if it could be a Colt spawn.

As with any softie the only way to know for sure is to disect it and check the spicules... It does look like a colt but there are many genre that are referred to as "colts" BUT "colts" will drop "babies" that will spread and attach to anything they can.

    Happy free coral getting!!

Looks like a KT or a Colt to me. I bought a kenya tree frag about that size for $20 or $30. I don't remember the exact price, but its sure nice to get 'em free.

Yeah, I was thinking colt or some sort of encrusting leather (I've got one that's similar in my tank and that's what it was sold to me as.

If it's indeed a Colt it would be ironic. I've been trying to frag the one I have and can't get it to stick to anything.
