I was wondering if any one would be able to recommend corals that a clownfish can safely host? I have an elegance coral that mine is currently trying to host in and it is killing it. :(

Generally just anemones. Some torch family corals do OK.

i've been told that they like frogspawn but mine have never looked at it. clowns are weird. mine have tried hosting in a mushroom patch and zoas but now have seemed to claimed my duncans as their home. i've always been told not to mix Elegance with clowns for just this reason. can you take one or the other back?

i'd be tempted to take it off your hands if you can't return it for some reason, though who knows what my clowns would do. i really want one but can't seem to find them near me for a decent price

My clowns won't let my toadstool open up in peace.
I have a frogspawn, they never even looked at,].
Usually, during the night, when the toadstool is closed, they sleep in the open brain.
I've even seen clowns hosting a feather duster.

A clown will irritate and possibly kill all LPS corals so I'd avoid buying those. Personally, I'd rather get rid of the fish :)
