    I am stumped .. at first glance looked like a Cat's paw but wrong polyp structure...

    Supposedly it's sps, It was kept under mh, I have it about 8 inches under 8 t-5's and it seems to be doing well.It's about a foot in length and by the edges it seem encrusting type

    It is Hydnophora sp. Yes it is SPS.

    Thanks Jason! Anything special as far as care and feeding requirements? Are 8 T-5's 54 watt's enough for growth?

    It's an odd SPS. Very powerful stinging cells. So if it touches another coral it will typically win the fight.
    If it starts to brown out I would think it needed more light.
    it likes lower flow as compared to other SPS corals
