    any idea as to what this is? its for sale but i have no clue wat it is or requires, seller didn't post up any info...looks pretty....never really seen anything like it.

    orange spider sponge, very beautiful animal. No idea on the requirements but you can look them up :)

    it is actually two animals... Axinella damicornis with encrusting Parazoanthus axinellae.

    Scientific name is Trikentrion flabelliforme or commonly named White Line Sponge.They come from australia and are total filter feeders,should be left in the ocean.You have to be dedicated to making sure it gets the right food,and often enough.I've seen them for sale in canada for about a year now.

    One of the guys in my local reef club has one and it is growing like a weed, probably overfeeds his tank though. I was tempted to grab his last batch of frags but my tank was way too young

    absolutely gorgeous, but yea looks like you have to make sure it gets its nutrients

    oh i dont have it, someone has it for sale at the local reef club (boston reefers,on the forum) they didn't really post alot of info and someone had asked but there wasn't a response listed figured i could count on you guys here to get a quick response (hehehe i'm impatient) its gorgeous tho, lucky person who ever ends up taking it home.
