I just purchased this coral (a large frag) over the weekend and the owner was not certain of the name. I do have to say though, that I absolutely love the color of this coral!

I am looking for some care information if anyone has it.

    Thanks!

Acropora of some kind, species identification is nearly impossible, unless you kill a branch and ship it to a coral id expert, even then it would be hard to say. I would follow normal acropora guidelines, good water flow, bright light, excellent water quality.

    Thanks!

The closest that I have been able to come up with is Acro. Humilis "sky blue".

Seems to be happy so far :)

The A. Humilis has thicker branches And the radials are more bulbous. Im gonna agree that it is impossible to tell with out looking at the skeleton under a microscope but going by the photo id say it is closer to a A. kimbeensis or A.Vermiculata. But again thats just a guess cause i cant really say for sure without looking under the microscope. Either way makes no difference as far as keeping any acro happy. Lots of light, lots of flow, low nutrients etc....
