Coral ID, please

    Sorry about the image quality - for some reason I have a really hard time shooting this tank. Coral in question is the green guy central in pics

    I think it's some sort of Euphyllia but it's really hard to tell. There are two of them with a fresh pup coming out from underneath the other two. Central mouth on each head - with both heads sharing a common base. The pup is not coming from the common base but about a 1/2 inch over.

    Any ideas?

    Looks like a torch but could be a long tentacle plate.

    is the base hard plated or soft?

    Base is hard - narrow at connection point to live rock and opening up at base of polyps (like a flower).

    could be a plate coral........but I have to agree, that goni is BEAUTIFUL!

    i would like to see it after it withdraws to see the base it may be a torch but the tenacles are all different lengths and real tight grouped unlike most torchs
