    i bought it for 20 bucks he said it was a tooth coral.. i think but it never opens like a tooth coral, in my tank for a month now

    its some type of LPS. I have never heard of the tooth coral but doing a quick search they seem to also be LPS. So it probly only comes out at night. Have looked at after your lights are off?

    Yes it is a lobophyllia, thanks. Tooth coral... Deff not a common name.. It does look it. Oh and I did see it open one time at night.

    You can feed them various things, try some myscis and see what he does.
