    Yup, this most certainly looks like a dyed Goniopora to me. In which case, the odds of survival are extremely slim; sorry.

    I'd start shopping for coral elsewhere.

    Sorry to hear about it being most likely dyed. I agree with Hunter on finding another store or at least letting them know that it was dyed.

    I didnt know they died that kind of coral I thought that was with leathers for the most part

    Nearly any coral can be died if someone tries hard enough; it's simply cellular tissue which becomes stained.

    So if it is dyed and it grows. Will the new growth be yellow or what?

    It still looks like a really nice coral. I really like it dyed or not.
