Coral? ID

    What ever that algae might have been its gone now. I put an anenome hermit crab in the tank and it mowed down everything on that rock, including the corals, the only thing that has survived so far is that big grey paly.

    Thats great news. What kind of crab? Can you take a picture of it? Some crabs are not reef safe. The fact something ate the algae leads me to believe it was GHA.;D;D8)

    i like the death paly :) does it have any coloration under the UV's at night? some of my palys glow green

    it was a Dardanus pedunculatus anenome hermit crab and it wasnt reef safe because it ate all my pulsing xenia in the tank and some of my zoas. It left that grey paly alone though
