    I have read that no matter how high they seem to send out 6" sweepers but in lower flow the sweepers can get to 12" or longer.

    I would keep it up high, just make sure it's nice and secure. I glued mine down pretty good.

    Yup, I can not count how many times my Hydnophora killed another coral before I learned my lesson. Yet I still have it, in a far corner and still one of my favorite corals.
