    We just got it yesterday along with a colt coral. These are the first two corals on our tank :)
    I have three peppermint shrimp they seem to be picking on the lavender too much. Is this normal?
    Can they cause any damage?

    Typical of Peppermint shrimp, most likely they are just picking at algae, detritus...If you are not using them to eat aiptasia they may be more trouble than they're worth. They do pester LPS and other corals. Some people say that if you feed Peppermints more they will leave corals alone, that has not been my experience with them.

    Wow big improvement! Also I don't see any peppermints ;) lol is there any correlation here? or are they just hiding

    No, peppermints are still part of the tank. I guess the lavender is not a stranger anymore. :)
