    I want to say a Mushroom, but am not 100% sure. Maybe even a Hairy Mushroom. Luna

    i just have never heard of a pink elephant ear i though they were only green and brown so can they come in pink???

    It looks like a type "leather coral" with a common name of "cabbage coral" probably Sinularia dura.

    Some corals are dyed, a practice that I dont condone.

    Mushrooms are one that do not accept dye so no worries here. Now leather corals (Sinularia, Sarco's, etc) are prime candidates. However, that one looks normal to me (IMO/IME)>
