    Is it thick or thin? If that makes sense.... If it is thick and feels somewhat fibrous/ridgid I would agree with Greshem with it being a "cabbage" coral...
    I would say by the shape that is most likely a leather as compared to a mushroom... Does it have a central "mouth"? This would be a tell tale sign of a elephant ear... Also if you feed it something meaty an elephant ear would envelope it and eat it a cabbage would not...

    its is thin and dose NOT have a mouth in the middle like a mushroom
