    Hello all;

    I'm wondering what would be some good (colorful, hardy) coral additions to my tank.

    I currently have a 30 gallon tank with 50lbs of live sand, 35lbs live rock.

    Lighting - 4X 24 Watt T5's, 2 10,000k and 2 Actinics.

    The tank has been and running for a few months, and I currently have 1 maroon clown, who lives in a green bubble tip anemone (doing well, green with maroon foot, tentacles are puffed up like they should be, but likes to hide under a ledge ::)), 2 yellow tail damsels, a lawnmower blenny, and 1 coral beauty angel. Also one purple tip haitain anemone (small).

    I have a patch of Xenia growing on a piece of rock (approximately 10 polyps) which are doing great. I'm not interested in stonies, but am wondering what soft corals I would do well with.

    Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    You could try a mushroom coral. They get kinda big, but you could always let it grow and then turn it in for credit later on. Also, Zoas. Kenya trees are good. Green and/or yellow star polyps. I don't have examples of the yellow polyps, but the others are represented below. They have been doing well in my tank (6 months old)

    I agree with both of them. You can check on some online dealers for ideas. I'm not saying to buy from them but I also think you LFS could give you a good idea too. With your lighting most softies should do well. On a side note nice picture john.

    I would suggest zoanthids. They are hardy and come in a variety of colors.

    Thanks everyone for the ideas! I decided to pick up a piece of rock with 3 Rhodactis on it today. Great looking tank John!

    Question - how much would you say a piece of Frogspawn that's around 5 inches is worth? My LFS is charging $20 for a tiny frag, and $60 for the 5 inch piece. Bubble coral, Hammer coral, $60. I live in Tampa, by the way.
