    Hi everyone!

There is an auction on a local site for 29 coral frags. The price seems very reasonable ~175USD (corals usually start ~40USD per frag here), but I would like to know what I am buying before I drive 6 hours each way to pick them up.

Here are the pictures from the auction (they're not very good pictures). Can anyone help me ID as many frags as possible. There are some obvious species that I can see - GSP, leather, acro, zoas etc, but would prefer to know what they all are. Thanks so much!!!

I will attempt to name some of them myself, then someone can tell me what a terrible job I have done!

Photo1: All are explained further below. Unsure about 2 on top right to the left of GSP - orange stick and the one below it. Also unsure of bottom centre - are they finger leathers?

Photo 2: 2x acropora, 1 large zoa, bottom right = unsure

    Photo 3: Pretty blurry...

    Photo 4: 3x Kenya tree

Photo 5: GSP in background, acropora in foreground, zoa on left background, leather in left foreground (?)

Photo 6: Front to back: kenya tree, yellow star polyp (?), leather (?), more YSP, zoa, what are the polyps sticking up behind the zoa?

Photo 7: left to right: blue/green = acro, green/orange = plating monti, white = leather, little green in center = acro?, 3x larger acros (top middle and bottom center), the rest.... dunno... acros?, leather?

    Can anyone help me further?

left sid of pic coral kinda flat looking and is a aqua teal blue ish.. is a montipora of some sort i think...
back right pic 6 looks like GSP.. green star polyps and in pic1 top right pic is the same coral.
realy looks like theres a good mix of things in there.. and some that need to be colored up a bit to get a better look at what it is..

    Best of luck..

Most definitely, even if you decide you don't want some of them.

    I purchased them this evening.
Now I just have the horrible chore of a weekend in beautiful Nelson (New Zealand) to collect the corals.
Think my partner and I might stop off at some thermal springs along the way...
these are the sacrifices we have to make for our tanks!

Any advice on how to transport the corals for 6 hours in the car?
