Set the time, set the time that you want the daylight and night time lights and make sure you change the mode to auto.

i know this sounds bad, but can you be more specific, because i have it set for when i want the lights to come on and doesnt work, do i set a time for when i want the night setting to come on, or if i have something plugged in, in the night setting will it come on when the day setting turns off

Press PRG button once(yellow day time)
    a. time cycle on
Press DAY button until you have the days that you want the timer to turn on.
Press HOUR and MIN to set the time you want the item to turn on.
Press PRG button once, turn off
Press DAY button once, again for the days you want it to turn off.
Press HOUR and MIN to set the time to turn off.
You will have to do this for EVERY single that you want it to work. Luna
