I am new to the coral game and was wondering hot to tell if I have enough light. I have a 30 g half moon with 40 lbs live rock stacked in the center and bought frogspawn and was given a few lps corals. I have the led strip that came with it and I also bought a white true lumen strip and a arctic blue strip is that enough and also where do I place the power heads with the tank being circular

    Welcome to 3reef.

What is the brand of the light strips?

Place your power heads on the back wall near the top and edge and try aiming them along the front glass. you will most likely need to adjust the aim of each to compensate for your rock set up.

    Pictures would be cool also.

Are the True Lumen strips LED?

You will need to play around with the pumps to see what works best

Yes they are led . I always heard that you don't want a circular flow but when I tested the flow with fish food it seemed to make one large circle around the tank . I have the stock led strip on a timer that stays on for 8 hours then cuts off then the lumen strip stays on o e extra hour kind of mimicking dusk then it goes off
