Alright, so i have this snail that is a little bigger than a golf ball. Now, Im wanting to attach a piece of coral to him, a little piece of green star polyps, or maybe some zoas. And let it grow out across the back of the snail. has anyone ever seen this? How well does this work, or how well do you think it'll work? There is no way for my snail to go under the rock or anything, so I dont think lighting would be a problem. But, i have no idea, it was just a thought. What do you guys think about this?

Ive added a picture of my snail. It no longer has any green algae on it. Its back is just covered in coraline algae now. A purple snail pretty much.

I think Gsp would look awesome on him. lol it would always be moving around in your tank...
I dunno though. They detect any variation in waterflow and could stay closed.
I think its worth a try if you got a spare frag. Post pics and let us know!!!!

it should be ok as long as the snail isn't nocturnal and hides under the rocks in the day.

No, he is always out eating algea and trying to crawl over coral. lol He is never hidden away, always in the open. Just wanted to make sure the zoas wont sting the snail or anything. Do you think that could happen? Would green star polyps do that? I didnt think they stung, but just want to make sure.

IO dont believe the Gsp or Zoa's either would harm him.
Go with GSP'S!!! They will look much cooler than a moving Zoa

how do you plan on afixing the frag.......glue? if so be shure the snail shell where your attaching is dry or it will shake or rub it off.

Here is my thought....depending on what fish you have, the added Coral may attract attention and get nipped at a lot. Not only will it stress the Coral it could also stress the snail.
