Ok, so im setting up a quarantine tank for both new fish and corals and anything else that goes into the new 240G. I dont want to spend mega bucks and a light system for the quarantine tank so what would be acceptable for quarantining SPS? as far as lighting goes

I'm not all that sure you need to quarantine SPS corals that much.
I can't see many hitchhikers getting into your tank being that there is not many places for them to hide compared to a colony of zoa's.
I personally would just make sure to shake them back and forth a bit in the bag before adding them into the tank to rid of any parasites or any chemicals the sps may be releasing due to stress. Or if you wanted to watch them for a short 24 hr or so you could always toss the coral into a pitcher or bucket and put it in a window that gets lots of light. Just my thoughts.

I didn't think so either but now I've got an issue with montipora eating nudibranchs. :( There's also the danger of introducing red bugs, acro eating flatworms and other nasties...ugh...I love this hobby.

Ah, the wonders of the deep. I just love that feeling of hitting myself when I saw the flatworm...He felt my wraith!
