Can someone please tell me if this is a good brand and if you have had any issues with it. I know the company is out of business but would it be a good buy for me if I get it used. Thanks,

They are ok if you are trying to raise softies or Zoas or fish. They are not real good for LPS and not good enough for SPS.

I agree with reefnut1. Its an ok light to maybe start off with if you only planing on doing softies.

I understand that aspect of it, what I'm more interested in is if the brand itself is a good brand and if anyone has had it and had any problems with theirs.

I have had 2 sets of them and they are about 1 year and a half old (maybe older) and still working. One is on my sons 72 gallon and one is on a 75 gallon that I own.
