Coral space

    when I read and they say , space your coral apart, they may sting other corals, how far apart should they be?
    an inch or so?? half the tank?

    any ideas?

    Well, when I think of coral spacing I think of two factors.

    The first is how far a coral can sting. Different corals can sting different distances. LPS usually can sting corals farther away than sps.

    The second factor is how fast and large a coral will grow. You dont want to place two corals that will grow into each other and hurt one another. One exception to this would be polyps and mushroom corals.
