Coral tearing itsself apart.

    This is perhaps one of the fastest growing Coral in my tank, that little piece there moved off the plug and fell in the sand bed and was getting blown around by the current, so I put that little rock there and stuck that piece near it and now look what its doing. Talk about a Coral that can take over a tank.

    And yes they do self propagate like mad if conditions are right.

    I will be happy when I get my 72 up, I am already worried it will attach to that large rock behind, when I get that 72 up I will put in a place where it ain't near other rocks. WOW! frags anyone? :D

    What kind of coral is it? Looks like my xenia stalks and how they pull apart but with a different top

    Its a Purple Asterospicularia! not as purple as it use to be.
