    I watched the Video a few times, Unless he took off with a Miami Chalice or something, Im not sure that there were 4g worth stolen or that store has some crazy prices. I wonder how that works with live goods, since the store can say they were selling a piece of xenia for $150. Since there is no "retail" prices for the police to use as a price range. BY NO MEANS DOES THIS JUSTIFY ANYTHING, the guy is still a low life who stole from a hardworking business person. He was not stealing baby formula or diapers for his children, so nothing can justify him stealing this stuff. I just saw the headline again and it made me wonder about the pricing.

    I've had livestock and dry goods stolen. One guy I caught years ago at a different store walked in a number of months back. I told him to just turn around and never return. He didn't give me any argument.

    Now corals will start coming with anti-theft protection.

    Jeesh,too bad you even have to chain down your reef! Thats as bad as the person that stole my grill while I was cooking chicken breast on it,tuned the heat down low,went in for a drink,came back out a few minutes later......gone.I would have gave them the grill if they'd asked,the burner was shot,it was an old rust bucket and the tank was close to empty,but he took my damn chicken!:angry:

    It looks like the colonies are fairly large which could drastically increase the prices. But 4k does sound like alot.

    Damn that guy must be really addicted to reef keeping..I'm guessing the 4k total was over a period of time. The owner probably noticed corals missing and then had the camera installed and finally caught the guy on camera.

    OOO....alright that makes a lot of sense. Over time I can deff. see 4 k. Was just wondering, as stated whether it was a dollar or a million, the whole situation is just wrong.
