I have a 10 gallon nano reef tank. I am not @ all pleased with the way my coral is growing. I wanted my tank to be beautiful. It isn't. In fact it was much more attractive a few years back when I first started it.

I do weekly water changes & feed with Kent Coral Accel daily. I have just now cut it back to feeding every other day. Some say not to feed @ all.

How can I make my coral grow & have a beautiful tank once more ?

First and foremost, how are your bulbs and when was the last time you changed them? When did you know the change? Is there anything in your daily routine that you changed other than feeding your coral?

My bulbs are good, recommended by the reef store. I've only had them for a couple of months.I think the only thing I have done differently is feeding my coral. Could that hurt my coral ? I do notice that I have that beautiful pink coraline over the rocks, but , just recently I have noticed some of that red sfuff.

If the red stuff is cyano then that's why your corals are unhappy. Its possible you have to many nutrients in your tank because most algae lives off of that with the exception of coralline.

these are the times at picture would be absolutely brilliant

we could look at the tank and see if anything looked suspect
we could assess the state of your corals, and their position in relation to flow etc

Yeah, a pic would be nice. What type of corals do you have and specifically what type of lights do you have. I've run across it all too often where the store says something is good when in fact it wasn't.

LFS are notorious for making crappy recommendations. Can you please answer the question on what bulbs you have?
