    Saw this at the lfs for $239. The new Coralife 150 watt HQI pendant:

    Not sure how that retractable cord works, but this would be sweet over a 30 gallon cube aquarium.

    239 is about an average price for a 150watt HQI pendant with a ballast, so I don't think it is high. I would prefer another brand if it was my money but if the retractable thing works might be pretty cool. Most other pendants come with 2 metal wires to hang them with that have a clamp on each that lets you adjust the height. But for ease of adjustment to move out of the way this would be real cool as long as it doesn't wear out easily
