    I had the same fixture (two bulb correct?)... ballast went within a year. I took it apart and no longer use it. I lost any interest in ever fixing it when I couldn't find any other bulbs besides coralife that fit it.

    I am glad someone else went through the torture of looking for useless 30" bulbs. I wish there was a warning on the box or something that said "No one else sells 30" bulbs"... I wouldn't have bought it.

    I have a 30" fish need it fixture on its way here now in the mail.. that uses 24" bulbs.

    I'm guessing its the ballast. It seemed like a crappy light as soon as I unscrewed it the first time every one of their cheap screws stripped. I plugged it in at another house and the same thing happend.. stayed on for a second then cut off. POS
