I just got a 24" coralife lunar aqualight HO T5
4 bulb fixture from bigalsonline. I was checking everything out and realized it only has one fan but there is a fan cover on each end. I am assuming there should be two fans and it is an error. Does anyone have this light? I am bummed I don't want to have to return it!

I have 2 coralife 36 inch fixtures. The other end is just an intake or vent for the fans on the other end. Dont be bummed...this is how they are designed.

one end sucks in air one end blows it out, I don't know if it should have 2 fans on each end but it will work with only one.

The fan are on top on the fixture and not the sides. Does that makes a difference? Online it says 2 fans but the owners manual does not specify

I know it's annoying even the coralife website doesn't fully specify. I will call tomorrow. Thanks for the help

It's just supposed to have one fan. The empty spot is for incoming air. T5's don't require enormous amounts of airflow to cool them.

okay I talked with bigals customer service and they said it should only have one fan for a 24" and 36". 48" fixtures have two.
