    I'm not familiar with the product, sounds just like a fertilizer like was mentioned previously.
    I just wanted to make sure you're aware of the potential downsides of caulerpa before growing it in your aquarium. It can become somewhat invasive in some tanks and be a bit of a pest because it can reproduce so fast.
    Also it can get to a sexual reproductive stage which can mess with your chemistry as it tries to reproduce by releasing tons of spores into the tank. It's not a death sentence but can definitely be a challenge and a large source of nutrients being put back into the tank suddenly, and should be something you should be aware of.

    I'm not too familiar with it and I'm not trying to scare you or anything. I would just suggest looking into it a little bit more to be sure you understand the risks and how to avoid the problems.

    Yea I was aware :( I originally wanted cheato.. which is what i was looking for, but the one lfs i went to only had that so I got it. My other lfs I just found out carries cheato. So I will probably switch it out.

    I'd call it a Bottle O algae . It will feed the bad as well as any good grasses in a system This is the we run a refugium , is to remove that stuff so as to not feed algae blooms . Hey but its your tank good luck with either choice .
