dont buy it, it takes a lot to get it going right! If your looking for a HoB skimmer look at a bac pak, aqua c or a Octopus

    why???

That thing is weak... Invest in a octopus, provides optimum skimming; more bang for the buck.

not the best designed skimmer. Skip it, there are many other quality skimmers on the market.

The coralife super skimmers are great skimmers in sump, not so great as hob.Water level has to be stable,as in the sump, or you will be constantly adjusting it as hob.I have a coralife ss on my 55 in the sump and it works great so if you want to go that route you will be fine.

i have the 150 in my sump. works awesome. easy to adjust and produces good skimmate. every now and then needs a bit of maintenance, i.e cleaning , but i highly recommend it.

One thing about this hobby is it ain't cheap. A skimmer is arguably the one thing that you must not skimp on.
    Go with a good brand.
