CoraLife Super Skimmer 125

If you have the 125 the air line goes from the pump or powerhead how ever you call it but the line goes to a small barrel with two ports for air lines. that is th esilencer.

 

I dose two teaspoons every other day....

ok, Yes I do use the valve to help narrow the adjustment. The big valve is to hard to adjust and be able to get it right on.

 

I have no fish so I am doing a pretty dry skim, When I get livestock it will change then the hard part of adjusting will start. If I get enuff info from others that use or used the same 125 then I will be one step ahead and might not flood things out...

Did you run it insump or hang it? I hung it on the sump cause I didnt have enough room to put it in. But now I might do it cause I have more room than before. I am bettin that it runs better insump.

 

I got rid of mine after only a few weeks. Switched to a Tunze 9015 and never looked back. It was the skimmer that came with the original tank and never could get it to stop making microbubbles no matter what I tried. JMTC8)
