Coralife Super Skimmer 220?

Is it worth buying I have a chance to pick one up for 75.00 used and just wondered if it was worth the money. I have read that they are touchy but for 75.00 i can't find any other skimmer for that price range.

 

You can get those brand new for around 100.00$.You get what you pay for usually and the skimmer is not the place to skimp.

 

what do you recomend then? marine depot is has a precision marine redline on sale?

 

Eshopps, Octopus, I mean i dont really know what to get. I jsut dont want to have to worry about it overflowing my sump/refuge and dont want to adjust daily after broken in.

 

I currently have a Coralife 220 on my 120G. I have yet to encounter a problem. I got it off C-list and has worked very well. Obviously there are many higher quality skimmers. Just my $0.02...

 

i had one they it worked pretty well. The microbubbles were kind of a pain.

 

Where can you get one for that price??

This is where I found it but it turns out to be a different skimmer with no pump.They get almost 200.00 dollars at F&S so if you are on a budget I guess 75.00 is not too bad a deal.
I use an ASM skimmer. I have heard Octos are pretty good but have never owned one.
