    not exactly a fact

agreed. I would only suggest saving for the R.Octo over the aqua C.

I am really looking for something cylindrical, under a 7" footprint, and used but well performing. Hopefully someone out there has what I am looking for :)

Well if you have to have a cylinder than I would suggest CPR BAK pack. Theres only a limited number of quality HOB Skimmers out there and by considering only cylinders, your limitingt that number even more, especially only wanting used. Good Luck. Maybe go with the Coralife after all.

I am not looking for a HOB skimmer. This will be going in my sump.

ohhh. got ya. I just assumed HOB because the Coralife is designed for sump or HOB.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I should have been more clear. Any suggestions for a in sump skimmer that would fit my needs?

Everyone has their opinions....I run a Coralife 65 on my 150. It only skims when there is something in the water to skim. I have to empty twice a week. It does a great job, and has for almost 2 years now. Dont always listen to the hype about buying some MONSTER skimmer. IMO you can over skim, and remove too much. My readings are extremely good and stable. I have several Tangs, and feed heavy. I would buy it in a heartbeat:)
