    Skimmer arrived today. Just wondering how to reduce the bubbles flowing back into tank. Any other mods you can do to this model? Thanksss.

    lots of posts on this.... just a hint but it came w/ a ugly as sin box for it that is suposed to take care of that...just my advise if u have a sump get a marineland pro heard of alot of people having problems with them spilling over.I bought one returned the same day...junk imo

    the bubbles should just go away over time when the skimmer finally breaks in, if after a couple of days it doesnt go away, sounds like air is getting into a powerhead or something downstairs

    I did some mods to my Coralife super skimmer. I hated that bubble basket, because it made so much salt creep. You gotta keep a close eye on the skimmer while it is breaking in and clean the pump intake screen regularly to keep coraline algae and stuff from growing over it.
