    Will putting live rock thats covered in real nice looking purple coraline alfae into a tsnk thats cycling kill the algae on it?

    no,but it will help seed the tank with coralline.

    Ok i didnt want it to die off...the rocks im getting are covered in it and it looks realy cool so im excited
