Coraline dying.

    Agreed. I have not been running my white light T5 as a result and my coralline is popping up everywhere. When I had it on it would slowly die off.

    we should have a coralline thread here on 3 reef....pictures...maybe identify some species...care requirements....would be nice to have a better general understanding of it. Not much info out there....One thing to have it doing well, and another thing to understand whys some colors dominate etc...

    Yeah, i would really like to see my bright pink take off but it just shows up in spots then dies off or something eats it.

    i think peredhill's tank can be the model for how to grow pink coralline

    The other thing, mechanical filters, as in pads, socks etc. If you have one(or a few) and change it (them) often I find they can rob coralline of too much "good stuff" in the water.
