Is there any methods, either natural or synthetic, that will increase coraline growth and ultimately the maturity of the aquarium.

The only thing that will help the maturity of the aquarium is time. It has to mature on it's own. There are methods of coraline enhancement like the product "Purple Up'', but I strongly advise not using it. Coraline will grow on it's own if your patient. I advise against it because in many mature aquariums its a real nuisance. It can clog powerheads, returns, pumps, and other such things. While it is a pretty algae, it is still an algae and can become a major issue.

The only Natural way is the natural passing of time . With the right tank parameters of course . Remember only bad things happen fast in a reef.

The best way to make it grow everywhere is to hope it stops growing everywhere. :biglaugh:

One other thing to point out is that you need an initial colony of coarline in your tank to get it growing everywhere. So you need some live rock to start.

In my tank it did better under dimmer PC lighting than under T5s.

I would say well cured live rock, calcium, mag levels, and pretty healthy water. Mix that with time and acinitc light, you get coralline....

I can only add - it looks great on rock work - but when it starts on the acrylic ( coralline loves plastics and these are the 1st areas - power heads, piping , internal filters, internal skimmers etc that get colonised -
so remove it early from these areas ( dont leave it to long or its hard to remove and a badly scratched tank front may result from scrapping aged coralline)

the flakes that you scrape off from the plastics will help seed other areas - as will the activities of the snails - who will scrape bits off and spread it about during their travels
