I just went and scoped out my tank for a bit just trying to get a cycle rolling, I used dead everyting, rock sand, and my rock was pretty much totally pure white, and now I swear I have 2 specks of redish coraline growing. Is it possible?

I'm DanInfamous' Girlfriend, I decided to check out and feel what the red stuff felt like because he hasn't done it yet, when I touched it I didn't feel anything, so I used my nail to scratch it to see if anything came off, it didn't..It doesn't look bubbly or raised. It just looks like..red rock. Hopefully this is good =]..

you guys have lights on? if so what kind... mh, t5, pc? highly suspicious about this being coralline.... Dont want you guys to think its coralline when its not. especially on a new tank starting a cycle.

    Forgot about this thread.

The coraline, or atleast coraline looking stuff is still there, and tiny specks of it is popping up in other area's, not of it feels slimely or will easily come off.

Its a 29g biocube with the PC lights, I leave the moonlights on 24/7 and Since I have no corals and just recently added a fish I turn the lights on about 6-7 hours a day whenever I wake up. Ill be getting timers sooner than later and running the lights about 8-9 hours a day.
