    ^ I have some blue (more of a teal, quite pretty) showing up in my tank in addition to my pink and cranberry.

    Even if 1 spore lands on a rock and starts a new colony you have done the job right? Out of "dust" the chances seem pretty good to me. I've never turned off powerheads. Although, m, it will increase your chances.....

    I would imagine larger pieces and some creativity could also get you somewhere... 8)
