    Once coralline gets a grip there is no stopping it! I clean my glass every day, but once a week the razor blade comes out and I have to scrape the glass. It just keeps growing and growing, it's worse than Xenia! It looks great on the rocks, but ohh it is such a pain!

    HaHa...get used to it. Sign of healthy tank which all reefers have to deal with.

    Just keep a good scraper handy and scrape away. And while you are doing so, you will be just spreading again around tank.;D

    I only bother to keep front of tank clear...algae anywhere else is snail/asterina food.

    Amen, Omard. I never clean the sides of my tank. Gotta give the snails SOMETHING to eat. Plus I think eventually when the coralline covers it, it shall look cool. I'm getting explosive coralline growth right now. I love it.

    so it would be a good rule for noobies to not add coral till u see coraline starting to grow? if its a sign of high quality water then thats what i would have thought i hope so cos thats all im waiting for :p

    how many hours a day should i keed my lights on for, iv notice so growth on my rocks but nothing to major my cal. is at 450 and all of my other params. are fine as well.
