    Yup! you got it right that time, bujt how long were those lights on when the pic was taken? it looks like the polyps aren't very happy, and what are your parameters?

    I used an oxidizer and it cleaned up my cyano and hair algae within a week. The algae hasn't been back.

    i had just changed the lights before taking the picture, the polyps just hadn't acclimated yet, they adjusted within a couple of hours.

    The short term solution is to pour potions and elixirs in the tank to get rid of the problem. IMO what is being done here is sweeping the dirt under the rug. Make certain that there is enough water flow in the area where this cyano is growing.

    We need to address the problem at its core and refrain from "Band-Aid" solutions.

    Pouring all kinds of medicines in the tank is not a healthy practice and will surely rear its ugly head down the road.

    Just my two bits as I have learned this from personal experience.

    What's the difference between an electric blue leg and a blue leg? I was under the impression only electric would snack on it.

    i got a few ceriths, trochus and astrea's. They are all eating it
