    I have the opportunity to pick up a used 220 for about 20 and am wondering if they are decent. I have read some reviews and some are great and some not so great. Anyone with experience with them? This is going on a 75 gal(first SW build) and don't want a huge headache out of the skimmer.

    I ran a coralife SS 125 on a 90 gallon for a year. They work fine, but take some time to "calibrate".

    I found that once I got it dialed in I could produce really thick skimmate no problem. This took some time but once it was set, it worked perfectly.

    There are some mods you can do too I forget the website.

    For $20 that's a steal.
