my tank is cycled and is about a month and half old. i have 50lbs of dry base rock and many smaller pieces of lr that have various colors of coralline on them. i have excellent water flow and run 75% actinic and 25% daylight 12,000k. i do a partial water change once a week. i have scrapped at my coralline to get it dispersed into the water. how long will it be until i start to see coralline spreading and growing i cant wait for it to hit the powerheads and glass. right now i have brown dust-like algae on the powerheads and overflow box, and many green feathery things stuck to the glass that sway around. are these bad?

That is also where I saw mine first--on the overflows. 6mo. It should be pretty strong, I am at a year and pretty much covered. Never added Purple Up or anything. Just kept params right.

I have to say this isnt totally accurate.. my coraline showed up on the glass, and then began to cover the glass before I began to get any on my returns or overflow.. Opposite of the norm.. No idea why..
