    What can you use to scrape off coralline algae?
    I was going to buy a scraper but all my LFS's are closed :-/

    go to a hardware store buy a pack of razor blades and a scraper to hold them(preferably plastic) best investment ever assuming you have glass.

    I built a scraper using some spare chopsticks, a plastic knife and a gift card (the credit card style ones).

    An old credit card would probably do the trick, for acrylic I mean.

    It works for glass too. I use one on the end of some chopsticks, held with some super glue.

    Thanx for the help, I just got one & Scraped my whole tank. I didn't even know it was that dirty from coralline algae K+ ;D

    No problem, paying the huge prices of the fish store scrapers are ridiculous even more so considering they don't work as well.
