coralline and scratch removal advice

LOL that's one way to cure the problem.

 

funny.. I did scrap off coraline for the first time with a brand new razor blade. it works great. will a razor cause more scratchs? I always keep the blade flat and slightly angled. it did take off some gleen algae lines too that looked like scratches on my glass but really werent scratches

 

A razor blade works fine on glass... harder to handle in my opinion than a metal scraper design for the hobby. Best to use plastic on acrylic just incase.

 

I've always used a credit card on coraline! Works great! I've got tons of them....

Seriously (kind of), hang onto those expired credit cards. They really do work well on coraline!

Tired of your wife/girlfriend's credit card spending? Use it to scrape coraline! Maybe it will demagnetize or something in the tank. Of course, it won't matter if you ruin one - she probably has plenty more (not that I would know anything about that sort of thing.....)!!!!! ;D
