coralline and scratch removal advice

    funny.. I did scrap off coraline for the first time with a brand new razor blade. it works great. will a razor cause more scratchs? I always keep the blade flat and slightly angled. it did take off some gleen algae lines too that looked like scratches on my glass but really werent scratches :)

    A razor blade works fine on glass... harder to handle in my opinion than a metal scraper design for the hobby. Best to use plastic on acrylic just incase.

    I've always used a credit card on coraline! Works great! I've got tons of them....:p

    Seriously (kind of), hang onto those expired credit cards. They really do work well on coraline!

    Tired of your wife/girlfriend's credit card spending? Use it to scrape coraline! Maybe it will demagnetize or something in the tank. Of course, it won't matter if you ruin one - she probably has plenty more (not that I would know anything about that sort of thing.....)!!!!! ;D
