Coralline growth supplements?

    I would say 6 months if you have some nice algea already growing for a 55gal. What do yall think?

    I only recommend time and properly maintained/stable parameters.

    Any product is only going to try to mess with your parameters. Making them less stable.

    It's a great starter kit. Great way to get most of the needed tests for a good price.

    I replace them with Salifert though as I use them up.


    Once I started dosing BRS product and keeping solid parameters, I had a solid purple back wall in something like 6-9 months.

    As coralline grows exponentially basically, I don't think size of the wall is all that relevant :p (bigger the wall, more spots it's growing in sort of thing). Once you find that happy spot, it takes off fast. (You can then slow it down by moving away from that happy spot parameter wise (i.e. raise your Mg level)).

    I do have a 55 FWIW.

    Heck my tanks didn't strt getting any real coralline growth till 6-7 month old rang...now it's growng on my glass and plastic more than the rock :-/
