Coraline come in many colors, but it usually has a purpleish/pinkish color to it. Try Googling it.

    Thanks guys,

I have googled it and have seen pictures but there isn't a great description of what I am looking for. I have some light green, really dark green and purple stuff growing. The dark green stuff can be scratched off with my finger so I don't know if that is it or not. Is coralline easy to scrape off? My mag, alk, and ca are all within the limits right now. Thanks!!!

No, Caroline is not easy to scrape off. That "green" stuff that your reffering to sounds like algae to me.

Coraline will usually grow on plastic first, so if you look at your pumps, overflow, and the like you will see it there first. Should be little purple dots at first.
