Coralline is starting in my tank

just wanted to share some progress that is happening in my 20 gallon reef. My tank is almost 7 months old and i am starting to notice more and more coralline on my powerheads. i have been seeding the tank with scrapings from another system over the course of these 7 months, and it seems like results are starting to show. i have a little bit of purple, and dark red showing up on my powerheads. i hope this stuff takes off soon.

 

Seems like we as hobbyist consider good coralline growth a sign of a balanced system. Maintenance of calcium, magnesium, alk and trace such as strontium enhance it's growth.

In my tanks I have both cursed it when it appeared to be utilizing those elements mentioned above, and then missed it when I could not grow it.
