    Sounds like a good plan, just remember to go back over the sections you have already done after a couple of days. If you add scraping the glass to weekly maintainence it seems to be a little easier to get off than if you only do it occassionally. At least that has been my experience.

    If the glass is curved that might pose a problem since the blade might not be 100% in contact with the glass, resulting in a scratch. Other than that a brand new razor and flat glass will solve your problem. Find the sweet spot :):)
