As beautiful as it may seem at first, it will get irritating when it starts to encrust on your pumps, PHs and skimmer. Make sure it doesn't block your overflow too, coralline is a factor in waterflow disruption that can lead to an ugly mess if not kept in check. Good job on keeping good water quality though. :)

You had the same reaction I had when I first saw it growing in my tank. Then I had to clean it off of the front of my acrylic tank. Then I had to polish out the scratches I put in cleaning.

I still think it is really cool and congrats on your water quality.

    Good work!

Mines started growing like crazy as well, So im keeping an eye on things I dont want it on. A very close eye. I attribute it to my switch to RO/DI water and skimming heavy with my PM1.

Good job dude. Now, if you want to see it really take off....keep your Ca above 460 as well as Mg and dKH at appropriate levels. It will really go then.

And you do have to watch your PHs.

Not too long ago I had to clean my return because it was almost blocked off. Couldn't believe it. So +1 to the previous poster on the subject.

buffing scratches out of acrylic may be one thing, but if yu have scrapes on glass it may be more difficult.
